Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This region means everything to me. I was raised right here in District 91, and when I graduated from Clemson, I came back home to raise my family, to grow our family business, and to give back to the community that shaped me. Today, I live in Barnwell with my wife, Taylor, and our two amazing daughters. I serve as Director of Operations at Anovotek, LLC, a family-owned company based right here in town. I understand the challenges that come with running a small business, creating jobs, and keeping the doors open because I live those challenges every day. Public service has always been important to me. I was honored to be elected to the Barnwell County Council in 2018. Since then, I’ve worked hard as chair of the personnel and finance committees, helping oversee our county’s $23 million budget. I also serve on the board of the South Carolina Association of Counties, where I advocate for rural broadband expansion, better educational opportunities, and an improved quality of life for rural families like ours. I’m a proud Clemson alumnus with a degree in Polymer and Fiber Chemistry and an MBA. Clemson remains close to my heart. I support the university’s golf teams through the Golf Paws advisory board and was honored to be named a Roaring 10 recipient by the Clemson Young Alumni Council. Outside of work, I’m also an active basketball official, calling games through the South Carolina High School League and the Independent Schools Association — including state championships. Recently I announced my candidacy for the South Carolina State House in District 91, which serves Allendale, Barnwell, and Orangeburg counties. I’m running because I believe our region deserves a voice in Columbia who knows our struggles, shares our values, and is ready to fight for real progress. I’d love to hear from you.
